Fusion Groups

What’s that?  (I’m glad you asked.)

Fusion groups are composed of individuals with similar interests and/or ages that meet each Wednesday evening at the end of the service.  For example, we have a group whose members all love dogs, another group that loves to shop, one group is composed of those who enjoy outdoor activities, another group are the motorcycle enthusiasts, some like crafts, and one group is young adults with varied interests.

What’s the purpose? (Another good question)

The purpose of Fusion groups is to expand our personal knowledge of Biblical Teachings by meeting each individual at his or her level of understanding and questioning.  This allows each person to participate in guided discussions based on that Wednesday night’s teaching. It also builds relationships and support with people of similar interests.

How long does it last? (Now you are getting to the real questions)

Wednesday nights we have a short message and them about 7:45PM we break into Fusion groups.  The ending bell is rang at 8:10PM.  These groups are forming friendships that will last a lifetime.  Extracurricular activities are evolving from the fellowship and friendships that these groups have nurtured.
